Got bored, browsed Ebay for fun. Saw some real find in the Honda section. The first one will be one of tragedy to get it out of the way.

The single most mangled CRX I have seen since 2002

Brghrgehfrhgefgherjh.........Enough of that. Let's move on to something I never knew eisted - the Honda Element SC. Lowered, with big alloys, better lights front and rear, less cladding, and more lively interior. Clearly this was the one you wanted if you just wanted to haul people and not cargo. I actually dig it. I dig it a lot. It's a scion xB I wouldn't mind owning.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! - highly recommended for a good commuter and transporter.

And now for something a bit silly. Honda insight. 1st gen. With a manual. It competes in H-stock for SCCA autocross. I want it. I have a MIGHTY NEED for this car. Put some slightly wider wheels and tires on the front, open up the intake and exhaust a bit, and go hooning. Then get 8 bajillion MPGs on the ride home by swapping some skinny eco tires back on the front and use the generous trunk space to hold the tires. In essence, have a CR-Z, but without the ridiculous costs of money and efficiency.

The CR-Z should've just been the next insight.

1st - agree

2nd - it's a long living DD that's part wagon and has a manual. Show some respect.

3rd - Good, more for me and my mad scientist idea of putting a B-series in the back and more electric motors and batteries up front to create an insight e-tron.

Yeah, the Element is about average for me. The interior is not the best, but the shifter is reminiscent of the Ep3 hatch, which is good.

S2000 Swap! If that even is possible.

The Element looks good without all the plastic cladding on it. Plus practical manual car.

The Insight is even more silly when H-Stock doesn't exist after this year and essentially everything in it gets bumped up to G-Street where if the SCCA doesn't get their heads out of their ass the Focus ST will still be, unless a miracle happens and it goes to D Stock where it belongs. (If you cant tell I run in G-Stock, in a 4 banger BMW, against a ST)

It's a proper "eco" car. Super light, pretty basic, but I wish I could ditch the electrics for more simplicity.

I Guess you can save a few hundred pounds if you ditch the electrical.

The Fiesta is classed right, it should be THE car to have for G-Stock but for god knows whatever reason the Focus is there too so anybody with decent driving abilities can show up in one and win by seconds

Uuummmm......Unless you're autocross is on an actual track, the fiesta STs regularly creamed the heavier and larger Focus STs last year. At least, that was what I witnessed. THe only autocross on a track was Grattan's autocross and that's still a very handling focused track.

Ive only seen one Fiesta ST and he did ok but theres a fairly good guy in a Focus ST that absolutely destroyed everybody, he was the fastest stock driver the whole day, our regular PAX champ drives a WRX in D Stock and ran a 38.58 compared to the Focus at 37.87

I always loved the Insight for the same reason I love my 919 - torque across the powerband.
